地图作为全人类的“普遍语言”和全球话语活动的“通用文本”,构成了主体自我表达、社会互动和国际交往的重要途径。近年来,叙事地图学成为国际地图学研究的热点和前沿问题之一。然而,学术界尚未针对叙事地图学建立起一个系统、合理的概念框架,导致叙事地图研究缺乏清晰的底层逻辑,难以将“用地图讲好故事”这一基本原理带入不同的实践语境,无法完成从理论到实践的知识生产。针对这一学术空白,本研究首先通过理论演绎的方式,在认识论层面揭示地图样态的“文本”逻辑,在方法论层面剖析地图语言的方法逻辑,在实践论层面解析地图话语的实践逻辑;在此基础上,构建了叙事地图学的概念框架,涵盖叙事维度、叙事逻辑、叙事向度、叙事策略和叙事目标5个基本命题;最后,提出了叙事地图学的研究范式,确立了叙事地图学的概念、本体及方法体系,以期推动叙事地图学从地图学的学术前沿转变为主流范畴。本研究所建立的概念框架和研究范式为叙事地图学的创设与发展提供了理论根基和方向指引,同时也为当代地图学理论创新与发展给予了一定的行动镜鉴。
