Abstract: On-orbit geometric calibration is a key link for satellites to achieve high-precision positioning. In this paper, based on the 1∶2000 digital calibration test field in Ningxia, the calibration parameters of the dual-line-array cameras are calculated as a whole by the alternate iteration of forward intersection and backward intersection, and the high-precision on-orbit geometric calibration of the dual-line-array cameras of the GF-14 satellite is achieved. The calibration results were tested by using many testing fields around the world. The test results show that after high-precision geometric calibration, the accuracy of the direct forward intersection of the GF-14 satellite image can reach 2.34 m in plane and 1.97 m in elevation without ground control.
