A Method of Spatio-temporal Trajectory Fusion and Road Network Generation Based on Cognitive Law

Abstract: The spatio-temporal trajectory of taxi GPS data in streets and small lanes of Wuhan city is taken as the experiment data source, based on the "perceptual-cognition-experience" three levels of cognitive law, a new approach for track fusion and road network generation is put forward from the GPS spatio-temporal trajectories. The experiment with the taxi GPS trajectory in Wuhan is done, and the results are shown us that the proposed method in this paper for the taxi trajectory fusion and road network generation is practicable.
